It’s been a hectic few weeks for the newly registered BEforUkraine!
Our non-profit consists only of volunteers - many with entrepreneurial backgrounds - who want to help the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦
We have been amazed by the support we received from our respective networks 👏🏽
In just 3 weeks, your support allowed us to:
- Build a network of contacts in the public and private sector in Belgium, Poland and Ukraine
- Transport more than 10 tons of essential supplies to the East of Poland (see picture of goods delivered in eastern Ukraine by a trusted contact)
- Drive back to Belgium 85 refugees from Krakow, Warsaw and Medyka in a convoy of 20 vans
- Welcome a total of 101 refugees into 31 different belgian families who kindly accepted to support them.
Thanks to our generous donors, we have acquired goods for a total value of 350.000 euros that are currently finding their way to Ukraine.
These essential supplies include power banks, generators, clothing, dried food, baby food, gloves, flashlights... and a considerable amount of medical supplies
